Method 1: Using CMD to fix ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
With the help of CMD, you can solve almost all problems, that is the beauty of Command.
You have to open CMD, open it by pressing Win + R and then type cmd there after that hit enter. Now your CMD has opened.
Type these commands one after another.
netsh int ip set dns
netsh winsock reset
It’s time to restart your PC or laptop. After that, you will see that your problem is solved. However, if it doesn’t solve your problem then you can follow my other methods.
Method 2: Change DNS to fix ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
Most of the time there is something error in our DNS but we can set custom DNS to work properly.
- Right, Click on Window start menu after that click on Network Connections.
- Now Select your active network and right click on it and open properties.
- You have to select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and then click on Properties
- There you will have to update Custom DNS.
Preferred DNS Server: 22.214.171.124
Alternate DNS Server: 126.96.36.199
Press OK button there.
Now your problem has solved.
