Lotte Cultureworks Selects Christie 4K RGB Pure Laser Projection for South Korean Premium Big Size Cinema Auditoriums 2023

Christie is happy to announce that Lotte Cultureworks, a part of Lotte Group that controls Lotte Cinema, has purchased 4K RGB pure laser projection systems for its flagship Superplex World Tower auditorium in Seoul and other premium large format (PLF) auditoriums in South Korea.

Dual Christie CP4450-RGBs illuminate Superplex Hall’s world’s biggest screen.

The second-largest theater chain in South Korea has used RGB pure laser projection to give moviegoers the greatest sights and sounds. Christie CP4450-RGB and CP4440-RGB pure laser movie projectors with CineLife+ electronics, Christie Real|Laser lighting technology, and an all-in-one design with integrated cooling and sealed optical path power these premium auditoriums. Lotte World Tower, South Korea’s tallest structure, has Superplex World Tower’s renovated auditorium. The world’s largest screen at 34 meters wide is lighted by two Christie CP4450-RGB pure laser projectors that offer up to 110,000 lumens for a superb large-screen experience. Christie Mystique Cinema, an auto-calibrating picture alignment software and camera package, aligned the two projectors to create a seamless image.

Lotte Cinema Yongam in Cheongju, Lotte Cinema Dongtan in Suwon, and Lotte Cinema MBCine in Jinju use Christie CP4440-RGB pure laser projectors in PLF auditoriums with 13–17-meter screens outside of Seoul. Regional audiences want to see the hottest films on the biggest screens in the greatest formats.
